Kari Samantha, born in 1967 is an American actress, singer (born on April 28, 1967). She began her acting career when she was in her teens. She is most known for playing Maggie Beckett on the TV show Sliders as well her role as Sheriff Samantha Parker, in the horror-comedy movie Eight Legged Freaks. Wuhrer was raised at Brookfield Connecticut as the daughter of Karin Noble and worked as a payroll clerk, and German American Andrew Wuhrer. She has 3 siblings. The singer began performing in nightclubs as a teenager and was known to sneak away from her house to sing. Following her studies in acting at the Wooster School, at the age of 13, she pursued a degree in drama at the New York University's Tisch School of the Arts at Marymount Manhattan College and Columbia University. Then, she took classes in the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts under the renowned Uta Hagen. Born in Brookfield on April 28th in 1967. She was born in Connecticut's Brookfield on April 28, 1967.
