Sheryl underwood is an American actress as well as a comedian and TV host popular for her performance as co-host of The Talk's morning show. Sheryl was born in Little Rock and grew up within Little Rock. Sheryl was raised by the midst of a challenging family. Sheryl spent a large portion of her life helping her younger sister Frankie with polio. As a teenager, she had many problems with her mother. Sheryl claims that in the past, her mother would stab her father over the head because she was having a relationship with her. Following her college graduation Sheryl entered the military. But her passion was comedy. She was the first female finalist in the competition Miller Lite Comedy Search held in 1989. She began her TV career in 1992 when she made a cameo appearance as a frequent participant during the HBO comedy program Def Comedy Jam. In 2000, she was host of the TV show Oh Drama! Since 2011 she has been being a co-host for The Talk, a talk show. The Talk. The actress has appeared on fictional series including Bulworth Nikki, Beauty Shop and others.
