Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor was born on the 16th of April 1996 at Miami Florida. She is the daughter of Dennis Alan Taylor, a ex-bank executive, and Jennifer Marina Joy, a psychologist who is half-Spanish, and the other half is English. The father of her mother, who is Argentinan of Scottish and English descendant is also her mother. Her mother is Spanish as well as English origin. She was the youngest of a household that included six children. Four of her siblings are from the previous marriage to Taylor's father. Her family lived in Buenos Aires from the time she was just six before they relocated to Victoria, London. According to Taylor-Joy's account, the relocated family was traumatized and decided to not learn English with the intention of relocating back to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school following the moved from Northlands. She later enrolled at Queen's Gate School where she took ballet classes and appeared in school plays. When she was 16, she quit school in order to take on acting as a profession. Taylor-Joy has always known she wanted to work as an actress. Her dream was granted a opportunity by Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management, who offered her an opportunity as a model.
